I paint the interiors and plant life of my family home, a space passed down through generations. These works capture the textures of lived-in rooms — sunlit windows, worn floors, climbing vines, and quiet corners filled with ceramic pots and patterned fabrics. The paintings range in scale from medium to wall-sized. I work primarily in acrylic and oil, using bold, intense color contrast to capture the interplay of light and shadow across surfaces. I use expressive brushwork and a vibrant palette to evoke the atmosphere of each space, layering color to reflect the way light and memory settle into surfaces.

Architectural details like molding, doorframes, and tiling serve as compositional anchors, while the plants — often rendered in rich greens and yellows — bring a sense of vitality and continuity. Each painting is a visual study of a home shaped by time, care, and the quiet presence of those who’ve lived within it.
